Unique Concept Based Training
Through the sport of Jiu-Jitsu, we teach concepts that offer a better understanding of self-defense from a wide range of situations, taught through games & full contact activities that allows the students to become more efficient quicker, while also having tons of fun and enjoying their after school class!
Class Times & Ages
We offer 2 separate classes. The Pre-k class times are 2:00pm-2:45pm on Wednesdays. The Kinder-8th Grade class times are 3:30pm-4:30pm on Tuesdays, and both are held in the Worship Center. Students can be picked up directly from class or we can bring them to after care as an option. Students can join at any time during the year, they will not be behind as all classes not only teach usable and practical Jiu-Jitsu, but everything is used together. Joining at anytime is better than no time!
What to Expect & Bring
We teach a No-Gi style Jiu-Jitsu, which offers a more real-world self defense aspect. The uniform is a simple P.E. style attire. Jiu-Jitsu is very exciting, and also can be very tiring at first. The more classes the students attend, the better they adapt and build up the stamina for the sport, which also increases their physical endurance and strength!
Jiu Jitsu Events & Extras
We offer a Soldiers For Christ United tournament each Semester where all of our schools compete against each other. This allows the kids to experience Jiu-Jitsu through the lens of a sport, and also to showcase their abilities that they learn to their family and peers. We also encourage everyone to sign up for the bigger Jiu-Jitsu tournaments offered by various organizations city wide. As part of being on the team, I personally go to these tournaments and Coach them in their corner. These venues our large arenas that often consist of many audience members! These tournaments offer loads of fun, and often leave life-long memories for everyone to remember!
